"Longineu Parsons was a student and dear friend of jazz trumpet luminary, Nat Adderley. Often working together with Nat Adderley Jr.'s quartet, Longineu carries on the Nat Adderley Sr.'s rich musical tradition on Nat's very own flugal horn, which he gave to Longineu. The Longineu Parsons Ensemble delivers hard hitting Jazz, low-down and diry Blues, Free Jazz, Classical Improvisation and the Avant garde. From Louis Armstrong and John Coltrane to Miklós Rózsa and Claude Debussy, Longineu internalizes universal sources to create an original sound. Songs such as "Take The High Road" and "It Will Be Better," and classic albums such as "Tribal Disorder," and "Spaced: Collected Works 1980-1990," have earned Dr. Neu the reputation as one of the great innovators and contributors to the evolution of music in the 21st century. In 2019, Longineu will be releasing albums - "To Satchmo with Love" & "Live at Breezy's" Dr. Neu's work reflects his commitment to interdisciplinary thought, a re-valuing of universal sources and the coming together of all musical styles into one universal genre; music."
